Terms of Service

1. Software "As Is"

Meechi is an Open Core project. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this software, including data loss or business interruption.

2. Scope of Use

While the core engine (@meechi-ai/core) is Open Source (AGPLv3), the Meechi Interface (UI) is proprietary software provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the proprietary application wrapper.

3. Your API Keys

If you choose to use third-party AI providers (like OpenAI or Gemini) by entering your API keys:

• You are responsible for any costs incurred by those providers.
• You are subject to their respective Terms of Service.
• We do not store, see, or transmit your keys to our servers (because we don't have servers).

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or generate using Meechi. Since the data is stored locally on your device, you are solely responsible for backing it up.

5. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Meechi.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.
